Location: Greater Pittsburgh, PA Area (Warrendale, PA) - Hybrid Summary: This role involves integrating and optimizing technologies to meet organizational needs, collaborating with IT and business stakeholders, performing fit-gap analysis, and focusing on R&D and AI. The architect will establish a cross-functional Architecture Center of Excellence (CoE), drive common design practices, stay ahead of technical trends, and provide education and training through POCs and demos. They will serve as the technical help chain for D365, solution complex requests/projects, and approve technical requirements. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical expertise, align solutions with business needs, and influence through mature leadership skills without direct managerial responsibilities. What You'll Do: Enterprise Architect Function:

Lead the technical design and architecture of enterprise D365 solutions that meet business requirements and industry best practices. Provide technical expertise and guidance throughout all project phases, including architecture, integration, and optimization. Stay current with the latest D365 features and industry trends to future-proof solutions. Collaborate with stakeholders, including vendor partners, business leaders, IT managers, D365 functional leads, and development teams, to ensure solutions meet technical and business needs. Perform fit-gap analysis to identify differences between requirements and proposed solutions. Oversee D365 application implementations, ensuring quality and adherence to timelines. Develop and maintain detailed documentation, including technical specifications, architecture diagrams, user stories, and business process models. Conduct workshops and training sessions, providing ongoing support for platform adoption and evolution. Continuously improve solutions and processes by staying informed about new technologies and methodologies, expanding expertise in areas like Azure Service Bus, enterprise portals, ISV solutions, Azure Synapse, and Fabric advancements.

AI & Innovation:

Lead R&D initiatives exploring new technologies and developing AI-driven solutions such as predictive analytics, machine learning models, and intelligent automation to enhance D365 capabilities and drive growth. Develop proof of concepts (PoCs), demos, and mockups to validate new solutions.

Center of Excellence (CoE):

Establish and manage a disciplined, cross-functional Architecture CoE to promote best practices, standardize processes, and ensure architectural consistency across projects.

What You'll Need: Education & Experience:

Minimum of 15+ years in D365 enterprise architecture, focusing on configuration, implementation, and support. Technical Skills:

Expertise in D365 (Customer Engagement and Finance & Operations), Microsoft Power Platform (PowerApps, Power Automate, Power BI), Dataverse, DataLake, Fabric, and API integrations; experience with security, data migrations, managed environments, and performance tuning. Communication Skills:

Excellent presentation and stakeholder interaction skills, strong vendor management experience. R & D Experience:

Proven leadership in R&D and innovation, including AI solutions like machine learning and predictive analytics. CoE Experience:

Experience establishing and leading a Center of Excellence, promoting best practices and architectural consistency. Integration Experience:

Experience integrating D365 with other enterprise systems. Project Methodologies:

Knowledge of Agile and Waterfall methodologies. Certifications:

Relevant D365 certifications (e.g., MB-300, MB-310, MB-500). Industry Expertise:
