CrowdStrike is looking for an experienced Engineer to join our Data Services team to enhance our database systems. We seek a highly technical, hands-on engineer passionate about working with data plane services like Cassandra, ElasticSearch, Kafka, and comfortable building automation for large-scale cloud systems. Responsibilities
Maintain a deep understanding of data components such as Cassandra, ElasticSearch/OpenSearch, Kafka, Zookeeper, MySQL, and PostgreSQL, and operate and automate their clusters effectively. Develop infrastructure services supporting a full DevOps model. Collaborate with Engineering and Customer Support to troubleshoot production issues promptly. Ensure the safety, security, and availability of critical business data. Minimum Requirements
Experience with configuration management tools like Chef or Salt, or strong Ruby skills. Experience with large-scale datastores such as Cassandra, ElasticSearch, Kafka, Zookeeper, and MySQL. Experience managing large Linux environments. Experience operating within cloud environments, preferably AWS. Effective collaboration skills with local and remote teams. Decision-making skills, especially under pressure. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Bachelor’s degree in CS, CIS, Engineering, or related fields. Additional Information
