Located in Foster City, CA, we are looking for an SAP Project Systems – Sr Manager IT Architecture.
Job Summary The S4/Hana Projects Systems role will drive successful business process improvement and technical resolution of emerging Project system issues and requests. The role will partner with business subject matter experts and managers in areas such as Report-to-Record, Projects, Source-to-Settle, and Plan-to-Deliver.
Essential Duties and Job Functions
Understand the SAP Project systems technology landscape and how it affects business operations.
Interact with the business to understand requirements and conclude solutions, configuration, testing, and support.
Implement Project solutions across multiple projects through solution design, program management, product delivery, and service management.
Configure SAP PS structures including WBS, Network, Milestones, Cost Planning, Budgeting, Material Requirement Planning, Project Quotation, Time sheets, Goods issues, and other project management activities.
Integrate SAP PS with CO, FI, MM, SD, and PP modules.
Provide thought leadership on Supply Chain strategy within Project Systems solutions and roadmap.
Understand system ecology and its financial interfaces with legacy systems (Oracle/Hyperion) and SAP components (E-Hana, SAC-P, Analysis for Office, Webi).
Build effective relationships with business experts and leadership to facilitate solutions.
Additional responsibilities include managing project lifecycles, testing, documentation, troubleshooting, and cross-functional collaboration.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field with 8+ years of experience, or Master’s with 6+ years.
Extensive SAP Project Systems experience, including S/4HANA, configuration, testing, and integration.
Experience with accrual engine, workflow setup, CFIN, segregation of duties (Sox), and dashboard platforms (Tableau, Power BI, Spotfire).
Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
Fluent in English, with the ability to influence and drive change in a fast-paced environment.
