Our client, a leader in the power sports industry, is seeking an experienced Email Developer for a 5+ month contract assignment in Plymouth, MN. This role is hybrid. Job Summary:
The Email Developer is responsible for developing responsive emails for batch sends and automated programs, working with a team of email designers and developers. The role involves producing, proofing, testing, and troubleshooting dynamic content HTML emails that adhere to brand and email standards. The developer will also support team skill development and operational efficiencies. The ideal candidate must demonstrate work samples showing high-quality, clean email code supporting templated designs, brand standards, and current email best practices across various email clients. You will work across multiple brands and lifecycle stages, managing multiple emails simultaneously. Strong time management and attention to detail are essential. The candidate should be passionate about powersports, its customers, and the lifestyle. You thrive in a fast-paced, innovative environment and possess a strong work ethic. Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Lead and optimize HTML email campaigns and automated programs in Salesforce Marketing Cloud. Implement personalization and dynamic content using AMPscript for segmented audiences. Conduct end-to-end testing, including display and dynamic content verification. Maintain and enhance reusable, responsive HTML email templates. Promote email best practices to maximize deliverability, inbox placement, and engagement. Assist in cross-training on email processes across brands and support SFMC updates. Document processes and provide training and troubleshooting support to other developers. Minimum Qualifications
4-year degree in web design/development or related field, or equivalent experience. 3+ years developing responsive, table-based HTML emails, proficient in HTML/CSS. Experience with automated and transactional email campaigns. Experience with URL tagging for Google Analytics; reporting skills a plus. Basic proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite or Figma. Strong communication, organization, and self-management skills. Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities. Understanding of data structures relevant to email marketing. Preferred Qualifications
Hands-on Salesforce Marketing Cloud experience, especially with personalization and AMPscript. Experience developing HTML/CSS for Dark Mode. Experience setting up automated programs with triggers and decision points. Knowledge of multichannel marketing, including SMS. SQL query experience. Leadership or mentoring experience in development teams. Pay Rate:
