Senior Cyber Security Engineer

Location: Stamford, CT (4 days in office) Compensation: 170-200k base + competitive bonus target A growing systematic fund adviser in Stamford, CT is looking for a Senior Cyber Security Engineer to join as the first fully dedicated security professional. This is an exciting opportunity to partner with leadership across the firm. Responsibilities Maintain and improve overall security program for the firm Recommend and put into place new security solutions Oversee security platforms and set up preventive measures Vulnerability management across platforms including managing pen tests Partner with compliance team with incident response procedures and other important policies Risk assessments Requirements Bachelor's degree in cybersecurity or related field 4+ years experience in cyber security related role Experience at financial services firm a pus Strong understanding of vulnerability management, network monitoring, authentication, encryption, etc. Hands on experience working with security tools including SIEM, firewalls, IDS/IPS Understanding of security frameworks Scripting experience preferred Industry certifications preferred If you are interested in joining a growing firm where you can contribute as a leader in security, please apply to Shelley at Huxley!
