Position: Selene is seeking an Asset Manager who will perform a wide variety of duties in the Loss Mitigation and Servicing area by overseeing the default servicing functions completed by our network of servicers. This position requires in-depth knowledge of default servicing practices, primarily in loss mitigation, foreclosure, bankruptcy, and property valuations. Qualified candidates will be flexible, result-oriented, self-starter, high attention to detail and possess advanced communication skills. The ideal candidate position must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple competing priorities. Key Responsibilities: Responsible for loan resolutions of loan mortgage portfolio comprising of sub-,non-,re-performing loans Formulate and approve new and on-going loss mitigation and workout campaigns for targeted areas of the portfolio, including timely execution of strategies Review loss mitigation and/or Foreclosure transactions for approval or denial to ensure consistency, accuracy, and quality Review and reconcile Property Values Conduct oversight to ensure proper handling of loans from a servicing standpoint Conduct asset level reviews for loans outside of acceptable timelines and drive resolution strategies / practices Proactively review problem accounts with servicers and monitor for a quick resolution Actively participate in monthly loss mitigation performance meetings and provide insight for improvements and current trends to management Collaborate closely with internal teams and servicers to identify procedural changes and system enhancements; Recommend operational improvements and assist in implementation Remain current on all default processes and regulatory changes and their impacts on borrowers and servicing practices Requirements Minimum of 4-5 years Mortgage experience in at least 2 or more of the following areas: Collections, Loss Mitigation, Bankruptcy and Foreclosure processes Minimum of 2-3 years Mortgage experience in Loss Mitigation Advanced knowledge of mortgage loan workout options; have familiarity with servicing systems and comment reviews Working knowledge of GSE (FNMA, FHLMC and GNMA) collections and loss mitigation and servicing guidelines Working knowledge of servicing systems, such as LPS, MSP, SAGENT, BlackKnight is a plus Solves problems with a sense of recognizing opportunities, understanding risks, and acting quickly to overcome obstacles and reach a solution. Must be detailed oriented and consistently maintain a high level of quality and accuracy in their work Comfortable working in fast-paced environment Ability to work independently with minimal direct supervision and effectively communicate with multiple servicers on a constant basis to achieve stated objectives Ability to organize, prioritize and allocate workload for optimum efficiency Ability to resolve conflict appropriately and effectively resolve problems Ability to multi-task and consistently meet multiple deadlines. Strong team player with a high level of professionalism Proficient in Microsoft Office applications Preferred Qualifications: Intermediate Microsoft Excel Skills Experience and knowledge handling and servicing Non-QM Loans, Business Purpose Loans Experience in Mortgage Call center environment Experience with business intelligence tools i.e. Tableau Why Selene?
