We are seeking an experienced

Web Application Developer

with at least

5+ years of experience

to support the 60th Maintenance Group (MXG) at Travis Air Force Base. This position involves developing and maintaining critical web applications to support the operational needs of the 60th MXG, ensuring high availability and security in compliance with DoD and Air Force standards. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in full-stack development, security protocols, database management, and application lifecycle management.

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced

Web Application Developer

to support the 60th Maintenance Group (MXG) at Travis Air Force Base. This position involves developing and maintaining critical web applications to support the operational needs of the 60th MXG, ensuring high availability and security in compliance with DoD and Air Force standards. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in full-stack development, security protocols, database management, and application lifecycle management.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, implement, test, and maintain web applications using

C#, .NET, Java, PL/SQL, T-SQL, ASP, XML, HTML5, VB, and other modern languages .

Perform

database administration , ensuring timely backups, recovery processes, and data integrity.

Administer and maintain

web services

on the

Air Force Network (AFNet) , ensuring adherence to

DoD security policies

and

STIG compliance .

Coordinate with stakeholders to design, enhance, and troubleshoot web-based applications, including the

integration of legacy systems

with

newer infrastructure

solutions.

Implement best practices for

cybersecurity , including

encryption, authentication, and defense-in-depth security

measures.

Support disaster recovery and

data backup procedures , ensuring daily backups and weekly off-site rotations.

Provide customer support and training on developed applications, ensuring seamless user experience and minimal downtime.

Maintain compliance with

DoD Information Assurance Certification and Accreditation Process (DIACAP)

and

Risk Management Framework (RMF) .

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree

in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Proven experience in

full-stack development

using

C#, .NET, Java, PL/SQL, T-SQL, ASP, XML, HTML5, and VB .

Strong experience in

database management , including

Microsoft SQL Server

and

Oracle databases .

Familiarity with

DoD standards , including

AFNet ,

STIG compliance ,

DIACAP , and

RMF .

Proficiency in

version control systems

(Git, SVN) and

CI/CD pipelines .

Strong knowledge of

cybersecurity best practices , particularly in government or military environments.

Experience with

server configuration

and

disaster recovery

processes.

Excellent

troubleshooting skills

and ability to handle multiple concurrent projects.

Experience with

AGILE methodologies

and

Test-Driven Development (TDD) .

Preferred Qualifications:

Familiarity with

AFMAN 17-301 ,

AFI 17-130 , and other Air Force cybersecurity policies.

Experience in

large-scale enterprise systems

development and maintenance.

Active security clearance

or ability to obtain one.

Required Certifications:

Security+ (CompTIA)

- Required to meet

DoD 8570.01-M Information Assurance

certification standards.

Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)

or similar is preferred.

Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate

or

AWS Certified Developer

for cloud environments (if applicable).

On-Site Requirement:

This position

requires full-time, on-site

work at

Travis Air Force Base, CA . The developer must be available during regular working hours (7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday) and will interact closely with military personnel to ensure mission-critical systems function effectively.

Remote or telework options are not available due to the nature of the work and security requirements.

Work Hours:

Full-time , 40 hours per week (Monday through Friday).
