*The duration of this role is for 12-months.
Job Schedule:
Mon-Fri 8AM-5PM
*4-days onsite/1-day WFH.
Job Salary: $65-$68/hour *Depending on experience.
Project Overview
With the assistance of the Application Developer, this project supports the
Application Repair & Replacement
initiative for the
ViPS
system, which manages attorney vouchering information essential for tracking and payment processes. The work includes upgrading the current application to the latest version of
C3/.NET
and supporting ongoing
Azure Disaster Recovery (DR)
efforts.
Primary Responsibilities
The selected
C# Application Developer
will be responsible for analysis, development, and testing activities to support both enhancement and maintenance efforts. This role may require direct customer interaction, participation in team collaboration, and involvement in project ceremonies and meetings.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Application testing and debugging Problem solving and resolution Data analysis and validation Integration support Creation of technical documentation Development of SQL scripts (as needed) Coordination with the development team to address backlog items Ongoing support for items in the maintenance phase Validation of requirements documents and user stories Requirements Technical Skills:
Proficient in
C#
and the
.NET Framework
(.NET Core or .NET 5/6/7 is a plus) Strong understanding of
object-oriented programming (OOP)
principles Experience with
Visual Studio
and
version control systems
(e.g., Git) Familiarity with
ASP.NET MVC ,
Web API , or
Blazor
(depending on the application type) Knowledge of
SQL
and experience working with
relational databases
like Microsoft SQL Server Experience with
front-end technologies
such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like Angular or React (optional, but often valued) Understanding of
RESTful services
and
API integration Experience with
unit testing frameworks
(e.g., MSTest, NUnit, xUnit) Familiarity with
Agile/Scrum
methodologies Soft Skills: Strong
problem-solving
and
analytical
skills Excellent
communication
and
collaboration
abilities Ability to
work independently
as well as part of a team Attention to

and documentation Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree in
Computer Science ,
Software Engineering , or related field 2-5 years of experience in C# development Previous experience developing
desktop ,
web , or
enterprise applications
using C# Preferred (Optional but a Plus): Experience with
Entity Framework
or other ORMs Familiarity with
Azure ,
AWS , or other cloud platforms Experience with
DevOps tools ,
CI/CD pipelines , and
containerization
(e.g., Docker) Exposure to
microservices architecture
