Position Type: Contract Hybrid - 100% onsite during onboarding, then 1 day per week remote Required Qualifications: BA/BS degree in Accounting or Finance 5+ years of accounting experience SAP experience in FI, CO, and MM modules Manufacturing experience Proficiency in German (reading, writing, speaking) 3-5 years of advanced knowledge in: US and IFRS accounting principles and internal controls Financial data review and interpretation Advanced Microsoft Office skills, especially MS Access and Excel Self-starter with minimal supervision Strong presentation and communication skills Process analysis expertise Proficiency in SAP FI, CO, MM, SD modules Talent development abilities Effective communication for results Customer-focused mindset Deep understanding of the business 5+ years of expert experience in: Project management Problem-solving PC spreadsheets and Windows environment General ledger and account maintenance Initiating improvements Setting strategic direction Analytical thinking Ownership Collaboration Adaptability to change Strategic thinking Integrity Responsibilities: Coordinate department projects, including scheduling, testing, documentation, training, and reporting Plan and implement projects with management approval Represent the department in cross-functional projects Ensure compliance with IFRS and client guidelines Monitor segregation of duties using BizRights APPROVA, negotiate controls as needed Develop and maintain Internal Control System (ICS) documentation, evaluate controls, and recommend improvements Coordinate internal audit responses Assist with financial audits Company Description: Hired by Matrix values the human touch, starting every partnership with in-depth conversations.
