We are looking for a proactive X-Midas Software Engineer to collaborate in a multi-disciplinary research and development environment. Your role will involve working alongside talented electrical engineers, mathematicians, and computer scientists to develop custom digital signal processing solutions and sophisticated communication systems. Key Responsibilities: Design and implement software frameworks supporting advanced hardware- and software-based SIGINT systems. Develop reusable software toolkits and libraries, focusing on multi-threading and performance optimization. Contribute to the development of signal and image processing algorithms, hardware control, GUI design, and database systems. Ensure software products are well-structured, thoroughly documented, and rigorously tested. Engage directly with end users and customers to gather requirements and provide solutions. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of five years of experience in system development and deployment. Proficiency in C/C++ development within a Linux environment. Experience in designing and developing reusable frameworks. Strong mathematical and analytical skills. Proficient with the MIDAS framework, especially X-MIDAS, and Python. Experience working in a classified environment. Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance (US citizenship required). Preferred Qualifications: Experience with geolocation or digital signal processing in classified applications. Familiarity with Java and Qt. Experience with the REDHAWK framework.
