Senior Data Analyst - Homeowner's Insurance (Onsite)

The Data Analyst position is responsible for working within the Information Technology group, participating in a team responsible for report generation and data analysis utilizing database management software/tools against various database platforms. In this role, you will assist and lead in the development of automated reports, analytical and management reports, and data definitions across multiple computing environments. You will develop technical expertise in data mining and report development methodologies, techniques, and tools to ensure deliverables meet the needs of both internal and external business customers. Minimum requirements: Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or related discipline. 3+ years of experience with database management software/tools, including proficiency in SQL query building and report writing. Proficiency with MSSQL stored procedures, job creation, and report automation. Familiarity with advanced MSSQL features (linked servers, dbmail, bcp) for automating data delivery, file creation, and notifications. Proficiency with MSSQL Server tools (SSIS/Integration Services, SSRS/Reporting Services). Experience creating and modifying Crystal Reports. Familiarity with Business Objects/Crystal Reports Enterprise Server and report scheduling. Knowledge of Open Database Connectivity (ODBC). Experience with Microsoft Access (tables, queries, macros, forms, reports, VBA). Proficiency with MSSQL (2012 or later). Understanding of Machine Learning concepts (supervised/unsupervised learning, algorithms like linear regression and decision trees, evaluation metrics). Experience with ticketing systems for task management. Preferred qualities and skills: Resourcefulness, industriousness, and willingness to learn new technologies. Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines with high quality. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Flexibility and adaptability in a changing environment. Positive attitude and strong work ethic. Additional skills to develop or improve: Structured Query Language (SQL). Basic programming/scripting languages (.NET C#, C++, Python, etc.). Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint). Database structure and design. Experience in Property and Casualty Insurance is preferred.
