Job Description
As a Certified Repairman, your primary responsibility is to perform Preliminary, In-process, and Final Inspections on Avionic Components (instruments, accessories, radios) in an FAA Certificated Repair Station, complying with CFR 145 regulations.
This is an FAA Safety Sensitive position, requiring new hires to pass a pre-employment FAA Drug screening. Employees will also be subject to random FAA Drug and Alcohol testing during employment at Teledyne Controls, LLC, El Segundo, CA.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform Incoming, In-process, and Final Inspections on various Articles per company policy, procedures, and FAA regulations.
Inspect mechanical, electrical, and electronic components and assemblies.
Input inspection data into MS, Access Database, Ingenuous system, etc.
Review test data for acceptance.
Generate Rejection Reports for non-conformance and parts non-compliance.
Qualifications:
Qualified candidates must perform duties ethically and satisfactorily. The following are preferred:
Current IPC-610 or IPC-620 certifications strongly preferred.
Education and Experience:
Must have two years of college or technical training, or equivalent experience, with at least 18 months of related inspection experience in an FAA Repair Station or aerospace environment. Training will be provided as approved by the FAA-FSDO.
US Person Statement:
Applicants must be US Persons (US Citizens, Nationals, lawful permanent residents, asylees, or refugees) and fluent in English due to access restrictions and regulatory requirements.
Salary Range:
$42,800.00 - $57,100.00

The listed salary is a general guideline; actual compensation depends on factors such as experience, education, certifications, and skills.
