Under the supervision of the Accounting Manager, this role monitors inventory, purchases, costs, and revenue related to Food & Beverage operations at the Baton Rouge River Center. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Process and review all invoices and sales for concessions and catering. Complete all concessions, catering, and inventory journal entries monthly. Analyze Food & Beverage data, report findings to management, and perform additional analyses as needed. Remit monthly Food & Beverage taxes. Track costs accurately, participate in monthly inventory, and perform month-end inventory data entry. Coordinate with Food & Beverage staff on inventory, concessions, beverage consumption, and costs; verify cashier settlements and bar balances; troubleshoot inventory issues via POS terminals. Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports; communicate with SAVOR Corporate through the FTP system. Verify general ledger coding accuracy for F&B inventory and related entries. Prepare sales and operational reports as required. Ensure compliance with policies and procedures. Perform balance sheet reconciliations and bank reconciliations for operating accounts. Review POS back-of-house reporting, pricing, updates, and storage. Manage a company-paid cell phone, responding to calls, texts, and emails within 24 hours; share contact details with subordinates. Assist in budget preparation, review, and entry for concessions and catering revenue. Adhere to all SMG policies, including HR and Business Code of Conduct. Perform other duties as assigned. Skills Required:
Ability to work independently, exercising judgment and initiative with minimal supervision. Maintain effective relationships with colleagues and others. Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Outlook, Word), MS-DOS, and Peachtree accounting software. Strong problem-solving skills, data collection, and analytical abilities. Work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines. Organize and prioritize tasks efficiently. Follow instructions and communicate clearly in writing and orally. Remain flexible and adaptable to changing situations. Capable of working in a fast-paced environment. Working Conditions:
