Full-time Job Description: Mandatory Skills: 4+ years hands-on experience designing, developing, testing, and implementing Endpoint Security solutions in an enterprise environment. 4+ years of endpoint security experience, malware response, and/or security operations. Design and implementation experience, especially with Symantec SEP. Ability to troubleshoot SEP policy conflicts. Experience with large deployments of SEP (>150,000 endpoints). Solid understanding of endpoint security concepts. In-depth operating system knowledge of Windows (Server and Client) and Unix-based systems. Basic understanding of programming/scripting languages (VBS, PowerShell, Python). Experience in computer architecture and design. Knowledge of operating system design and security. Expertise in Symantec Antivirus and Symantec Endpoint Protection. Expert knowledge of McAfee DLP, ePolicy Orchestrator v5.1x and 4.x, and McAfee VirusScan. Experience with encryption software (PGP or McAfee SafeBoot). Virus submission and remediation experience. Strong investigative and analytical problem-solving skills. Experience with Enterprise Security Information Management systems. Preferred Skills: Experience with DLP software (McAfee DLP). Hands-on experience with Windows Server 2008 and 2012 administration. Hands-on IIS administration experience. Additional experience with encryption software. Ability to work effectively in a team environment. Good communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with clients, customers, team members, and support personnel. Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills. Self-motivated, proactive, and a good communicator. Job Roles/Responsibilities: Deployment, administration, management, configuration, testing, and integration of enterprise security platforms. Develop and implement standard procedures for security platform management, including content, change, version, patch, and lifecycle management. Contribute to security policies, standards, and guidelines related to endpoint security. Create technical documentation for endpoint security solutions.
