Job Summary

The Manufacturing Technician is responsible for executing a range of production tasks including sealing, filling, weighing, assembly, calibration, and inspection of medical device components. This role supports the manufacturing of high-quality solution packs and blood gas analyzers while ensuring compliance with quality standards and cleanroom practices. The technician must be detail-oriented, comfortable with repetitive tasks, and capable of working with minimal supervision in a regulated production environment.

Key Responsibilities Operate hot pouch sealer for packaging processes Perform manual taping and pouch filling operations Weigh filled pouches using a balance or scale and ensure liquid content falls within specified numeric range Manipulate filled pouches to remove air bubbles using hands or specialized fixtures Assemble finished medical device components Calibrate blood gas analyzers and document results Conduct pre-fill testing of sample solutions using blood gas analyzers and record test values Generate and apply bar code labels Visually inspect parts to ensure they meet quality criteria Perform final boxing and packaging of completed solution pack assemblies Conduct daily cycle counts of materials and maintain inventory accuracy Complete production routers and follow work instructions Use Excel and other basic computer applications for tracking and documentation

Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Minimum 3 years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment Ability to perform repetitive, high-quality work with strong attention to detail Comfortable following written procedures and verbal instructions Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently Computer literate with experience using Microsoft Excel Willing and able to follow cleanroom standards for apparel and hygiene Must be able to complete hands-on tasks involving assembly, weighing, and calibration

Preferred Qualifications (if any) Experience in medical device assembly or a regulated manufacturing environment Familiarity with QSR/GMP standards or prior related training Basic laboratory skills including micropipetting, pipetting, and weighing
