Voyatek is seeking applicants to occupy the position of Level 2 Specialist within our team NYS Integrated Eligibility Systems located in Albany, NY. This position is a 18 month contract, hybrid (up to 50%).
The mission of the Integrated Eligibility System (IES) is to enhance the well-being of New Yorkers by transforming health and human service delivery through coordinated business practices, modernized technology, and strategic partnerships. IES will provide eligibility, enrollment, case management, and payment functionality for Health and Human Service programs currently served by the Welfare Management System, Benefits Issuance Control System and other State systems. IES will build on the successful opening of the New York State of Health (NYSoH) by leveraging assets created for the health benefit exchange to modernize the eligibility system for health and human service programs.
Key Responsibilities:
Daily activities will include, but are not limited to: • Middleware Administration - Perform Installation, Maintenance, Configuration and monitoring of middleware products within the IES Platform such as Application Servers, Portal Servers, Case Management, Business Process Manager, Business Rules Engine & API Management Products. • Build high quality API/Integration/Middleware platforms that are highly available and scalable. • Actively participate in troubleshooting for any technical issues. Perform upgrades and patching to various foundational systems & middleware components. • Perform and configure Manual & Automated deployments of enterprise applications & configuration files. • Participate and provide inputs towards capacity planning on compute. • Create and maintain documentation for all major installations and implementations. • Explore, actively support and work on new technology initiatives that may be of interest to the organization. • Provide technical support for IES Program utilizing ITIL-compliant methodologies for the development and delivery of IES Platforms services and solutions. • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
1. Level II- Between four (4) and seven (7) years of experience as a Specialist
2. More than (5) years of experience in Middleware administration. Experience must include working with the installation, configuration and support of Middleware products like case management, business process management, messaging and API management products
3. Five or more years of experience with the installation, configuration and administration of IBM WebSphere Application Server.
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Five or more years of Middleware administration and production support of large scale highly available middleware environments.
2. Five or more years of experience with Continuous Integration and Delivery practices and automation tools (e.g., GitHub/Jenkins/Artifcatory etc).
3. Five or more years of experience with Scripting skills/tools: Unix Shell Scripting, Jython, Maven, Python etc.
4. Five or more years of experience in Devops and container technologies like kubernates, docker or openshift platforms.
5. Four or more years of experience working with Unix/Linix environments.
6. Experience with installation, configuration and Administration of MongoDB.
7. Experience with installation, configuration and support of Requirement Management software like Blueprint.
8. Experience with installation, configuration and support of Customer Communications tools like Quadient software
The wage range for this role reflects the wide array of factors considered in compensation decisions. These factors include, but are not limited to, skill sets, experience, training, licensure and certifications, and geographic location. Compensation decisions are based on the unique facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the hourly range is $ 70 .00 - $ 75 .00.
