Overview

An IT Architect is responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing high-level IT solutions that align with business objectives. This role involves analyzing system requirements, defining architecture frameworks, and ensuring scalability, security, and performance. The IT Architect will collaborate with stakeholders, developers, and engineers to deliver robust and innovative technology solutions.

The Integration Architect's role is to focus on robust integration solutions that connect disparate systems, applications, and data sources across the enterprise. This role requires deep expertise in integration patterns, API design, cloud services, and data movement technologies to ensure seamless, scalable, and secure interoperability. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise in Azure Integration Services (Azure API Management, Container Apps, Service Bus, Event Grid, Functions, etc.) and collaborate and consult across cross functional teams including Enterprise, Data and Salesforce architects to develop blueprints, roadmap and best of breed scalable integrations.

Skills • Expertise in designing scalable, high-availability systems. • Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), hybrid architectures, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes). • Understanding of cybersecurity principles, frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001) and data privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA, PCI, HIPAA, ISO 27001). • Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile methodologies. • Knowledge of data warehouses, data marts, data lakes, data hubs, and data governance. • Experience with microservices, APIs, SOA, and enterprise integration patterns and middleware technologies. • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. • Strong communication, presentation, and leadership abilities to guide cross-functional teams. • Excellent stakeholder management skills and ability to influence up and down throughout the organization. • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities. • Ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences. • Leadership in driving adoption, consensus, guiding teams and collaboration across cross-functional teams. • Adaptability to evolving technologies and business needs.

Education / Experience / Certifications: • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Experience: • 7+ years in IT architecture, business architecture, systems design, software development, integration architecture, or infrastructure. • 5+ years designing cloud-native integrations. • Proven experience in cloud computing (AWS, Azure, GCP), microservices, and enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman). • Strong background in software development (.NET, Java, Python, etc.) and DevOps practices. • Hands-on experience with databases (SQL/NoSQL), APIs, and security protocols.

Certifications: • Azure Certifications (Developer, DevOps Engineer, Administrator, Solutions Architect) • TOGAF® Enterprise Architecture Foundation (preferred) • MuleSoft Developer and MuleSoft Certified Platform Architect (preferred)
