It provides specialized care to patients, offering continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT) and hypothermia with a nursing ratio of 1:1 to 1:2 based on patient acuity. The Assistant Nurse Manager is a first-line manager in the administration of Ortho Surgery Services. The role includes responsibility for patients, personnel, and the environment, with accountability for the assigned unit. Key responsibilities include assisting with the orientation and in-service education of the Ortho OR staff, quality assurance activities, policy and procedure revisions, infection control surveillance, assisting with the Ortho OR staff schedule, and performance evaluations of assigned staff. Qualifications
Requirements: Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) required as of June 1, 2025. Two years of clinical experience required. Michigan Registered Nurse (RN) required. AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) required. AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required. Preferred: Participation in leadership activities (unit, hospital, or system shared governance meetings, precepting, charge nurse role). Benefits
