General Description of Duties

The Intermediate .NET Developer I is in charge of programming VB .NET to create custom screens and reports independently. This individual must maintain a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in ways that foster good relationships with those inside and outside the company. Essential Job Functions

Create new screens that have complexity, update screens to requested standards and modify screens to match current business rules written with VB .NET technology from Microsoft Visual Studio. Create new reports that are complex, update and modify reports to match current business rules written with SAP Crystal Reports. Update SQL Server Databases with new tables, columns and indexes independently. Utilize 3rd party tools, and controls, such as Infragistics and iTextSharp (and others), to develop the custom screens and reports. Remotely connect to users' computers to troubleshoot and support our user community. Attend meetings with Department Personnel to determine the needs of that Department. Apply understanding when to create indexes when needed for efficient data flow and speed. Apply understanding of what segments on indexes are needed. Must be able to type proficiently. Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in .NET Programming and Techniques. Bachelor of Science (Computer Science Preferred). Must be able to occasionally work overtime. Ability to work in a fast-paced and constantly changing, results-oriented environment. Must report to any company facility according to company need, sometimes with same-day notice. Location

Software Salary Range
