Assistant Nurse Manager
(job profile: Registered Nurse 3). This is a supervisory position reporting to the Clinic Manager.
WORK SCHEDULE
Full time / 100% FTE
The RN will work Monday-Friday from 7:00am-3:30pm
Our clinic is closed on nights, weekends, and holidays
DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION
Our
Dermatology Clinic
provides comprehensive dermatological care for patients with general and specialized skin conditions. Our services include treatments for hair loss, atypical moles, nail disorders, cutaneous lymphomas, contact dermatitis and rheumatology conditions, and treatment for skin cancers. Our clinic is also proud to provide Mohs micrographic surgery, which is one of the most effective state-of-the-art procedures for treating skin cancer.
POSITION HIGHLIGHTS
Join a state-of-the-art clinic
Supervise a team that provides life-changing care for patients
Work closely with the Clinic Manager to facilitate daily operations and projects
PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Establishes and maintains credibility as the leader of day-to-day operations in the clinic
Provides leadership for clinical and administrative functions
Promotes effective communication among staff and patients
Identifies staff and resource problems and takes necessary steps towards a resolution
Leads the hiring processes for medical assistants and RNs
Implements and manages orientation and educational programs for staff
Schedules staff work hours
Resolves unplanned absences, following Ambulatory Services Resource Pool Protocols
Develops, coordinates, and maintains work processes to ensure the clinic runs successfully
Establishes and maintains safety and emergency protocols for the clinic
Performs general clinic RN responsibilities (including procedural support) when needed
REQUIREMENTS
2 years of recent ambulatory nursing experience or acute care nursing experience
Proven leadership experience as a Lead Nurse, Charge Nurse, Committee Chair, or a position with similar management responsibilities
Active licensure to work as a Registered Nurse in Washington State
Active BLS
