Position Summary: Performs the primary functions of a Registered Nurse in assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating the care of patients during the perioperative period in accordance with all established Nursing Standards and Hospital Policies. Functions in the first or second assistant role under the direction of the Surgeon. Is responsible for managing all assigned personal supplies and equipment in the operating room. Responsible for promoting teamwork with all members of the healthcare team. Performs duties in a manner consistent with St. Lukes mission and values.
