Jobs via Dice Job summary: In this role, you will collaborate with clients to understand their laboratory workflows and business needs. Responsibilities: Collect and interpret user input to support the configuration and personalization of a Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS). Develop clear documentation of workflows and user requirements to guide system customization. Work independently or with the implementation team to address technical challenges and ensure alignment with functional expectations and design standards. You will be a key player in the implementation of their SaaS LIMS, as an industry leader. Location: Somerset, New Jersey Job type: Permanent Salary: $115,000 - 130,000 per year Work hours: 8am to 5pm Education: Bachelor's degree Responsibilities: Elicit and document detailed business and system requirements in support of laboratory software deployment initiatives. Translate client goals into actionable configuration steps using the existing system's framework and features. Coordinate closely with designers and technical leads to hand off specifications and oversee their proper implementation. Maintain communication with project managers to track timelines, deliverables, risks, and scope modifications. Assist clients with setup and data entry during early implementation stages. Serve as a domain expert, providing strategic guidance for system customization. Lead or support requirements-gathering workshops with client stakeholders. Draft functional specifications and ensure alignment with project budgets and timelines. Be a primary point of contact for client communication throughout the project. Identify and report potential scope changes and contribute to change requests. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree with 3-5 years of client-facing consulting experience. 2-3 years in business analysis or process optimization in technical environments. Strong documentation and organizational skills. Experience leading workshops with diverse stakeholders. Excellent communication skills. Experience working across teams in multiple time zones or internationally is advantageous. Willingness to travel 30-50% for projects.
