The
Senior IT Auditor
is responsible for the specific duties listed below.
Your specific duties will include: Leading the planning and development of assigned audit programs designed to evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of key controls in mitigating IT risks. You will also assist in facilitating IT audits and projects conducted by external parties in support of the IT audit plan or to provide technical expertise as needed. Conducting fact-finding interviews with management to identify control weaknesses and opportunities for improvement within the current operating environment. Preparing audit reports that clearly and accurately summarize significant control weaknesses and their impact on the organization, for review by Audit Management. Ensuring the quality of audit work in accordance with IIA Standards and established engagement procedures and guidelines. This includes reviewing work, providing ongoing coaching and feedback to audit staff, conducting performance evaluations, and holding performance discussions to ensure alignment with established goals. Taking a lead role in developing and executing the annual IT audit plan, with a focus on the most significant risks in the audit universe. This includes assisting in ongoing risk assessments to determine the scope of IT audits and other special projects. Specific qualifications for the position include :
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or Information Technology (required). 6-8 years of relevant experience in IT Audit or IT Security, including IT control analysis and development, IT risk assessment, information security, and technology risk management. Experience within financial institutions is preferred. Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with systems and platforms such as Windows Active Directory, UNIX/AIX/Linux, and Oracle/SQL databases. In-depth understanding of IT and Information Security standards and frameworks, including NIST, ISO, COBIT, COSO, FFIEC, NCUA, and CIS Top 20 Critical Security Controls. Professional certifications such as Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) are required. Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) is a plus. Proficiency in data analytics, including experience in developing and implementing Computer-Assisted Audit Techniques (CAATs) using tools such as Audit Command Language (ACL), Monarch, Microsoft Access/Excel, or SQL. Pay Rate Range :
$43.00 - $48.07 per hour
