Job Duties:

Develop, enhance, support, and maintain the Firm’s software solutions to support its global businesses.

Design and implement high-quality, scalable technology solutions using internal and open-source services.

Own requirements gathering, user story refinement, development, testing (unit, integration, regression), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and deployment.

Collaborate with internal teams to develop solution designs.

Identify external technologies to innovate and transform financial businesses and internal platforms.

Participate in all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) to meet internal and regulatory requirements.

Design, implement, and maintain robust testing suites for safe, complete, and scalable solutions.

Provide training and guidance to junior team members.

Job Requirements: Education:

Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, Applied Urban Science and Informatics, or a related field with at least 3 years of relevant experience, OR

Bachelor’s degree in the same fields with at least 5 years of relevant experience.

Experience:

Proficiency in C++ or Java.

Experience with the full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, documentation, deployment, and support.

Building multi-threaded and multi-process service-oriented enterprise applications within Unix environments.

Knowledge of programming technologies such as Spring, Hibernate, RabbitMQ, or Kafka.

Experience with relational database management systems like Sybase or Oracle.

Design and development of microservices architecture, including REST, Spring, or similar back-end technologies.

Proficiency with database query languages, including SQL or NoSQL technologies like MongoDB.
