Job Summary: The Clean Room Assembly Operator is responsible for assembly of intricate parts or products in a controlled room. They must wear clean room attire and always adhere to the clean room environmental protocols. Some non-standard work periods may be required.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Follow manufacturing instructions, processes, and procedures Assembly may require the use of a microscope for some processes Perform manual assembly of Optical, Electrical, and Mechanical parts containing very small components and occasional visual inspection Sections of the manufacturing process may require operating Robotics and other Computer Controlled equipment Maintain a clean work area Report problems with quality, processes, equipment, or materials to the Clean Room Manager Comply with policies, guidelines, and regulatory requirements Other duties as assigned by the Clean Room Manager Required Qualifications:

Detail oriented 1+ years of Assembly experience Able to read, write and speak English fluently Be a team player and work well under pressure Have an excellent work ethic Willing to learn, grow, and take on additional responsibilities as they arise Basic Soldering skills Desire to work in a cleanroom environment Ability to do repetitive work requiring dexterity and hand/eye coordination Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy High degree of productivity Proficient with basic computer operations Professional and pleasant demeanor

Preferred qualifications:

Advanced soldering experience with PWAs, small parts, and wires Some experience working with microscopes, operating Robotics, and other Computer controlled equipment Some experience in precision application of UV cure and two-part Epoxies Understanding and/or passion for optics and outdoor shooting sports The desire to grow, improve processes, and present ideas in a clear and concise manner Problem solving skills, root cause analysis, and document accurately Proficient with Microsoft Office

Education and Experience:

High school diploma required Associate degree preferred

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand or sit for long periods of time Must be able to lift to 25 pounds at times
