Schedule: 1st shift (Open to Scheduling) Pay: $35/hr.
Key Responsibilities:
Create, maintain, and improve NC programs using ESPRIT; calculate machining times, define tooling, and optimize CAM processes. Lead and participate in process improvement initiatives, analyze production problems, and propose corrective actions. Evaluate, select, quote, and manage tooling; maintain follow-up records for new tools and coordinate with vendors. Develop and revise work instructions, setup sheets, process documentation, and NC programming standards to ensure consistency and quality. Modernize outdated NC tapes to current CAM systems and ensure compatibility with production standards. Act as a liaison between departments and facilities, support production control, and participate in engineering and programming meetings. Assist in operator training, provide feedback to supervisors, and support manufacturing method improvements. Utilize SAP to review customer specs, monitor ECNs for program updates, and support ISO 9001/14001/45001 and safety initiatives. Contribute to capital equipment evaluations and foster a culture of safety and compliance throughout the workplace. Follow company policies, support additional tasks as assigned, and uphold workplace safety and environmental standards. Qualifications:
Associate's degree in Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent experience 2-4 years of NC programming experience, ideally on similar equipment Strong knowledge of machining and tooling, including turning, drilling, threading, ceramic turning, and gear manufacturing Solid understanding of machine controls and post processors Familiarity with cost calculations Proficient in ESPRIT or similar CAM software, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, SAP, and machine control systems like Siemens 840D Employee Benefits:
