Actively hiring a CMM Programmer to join our team on first shift in Stuart, FL! If you have experience working as a CMM programmer in the aerospace industry, and have experience utilizing Zeiss Calypso, please email me directly at chsamson@aerotek.com for a more streamlined process Details: We are seeking a skilled individual who can expertly transform mechanical prints and CAD models into precise CMM programs. This pivotal role ensures our products meet the highest standards of quality and precision by thoroughly checking all GD&T specifications and generating detailed reports. Responsibilities: Develop CMM programs from mechanical prints and CAD models. Verify all GD&T specifications to ensure quality standards. Create detailed inspection reports. Utilize knowledge of geometric tolerances and tool manufacturing processes. Use and maintain various measuring instruments and devices. Operate inspection equipment and gauges. Read and interpret technical drawings and prints. Perform mathematical calculations involving geometry and trigonometry. Work with tight tolerances of +/- .001 inches. Adapt to parts ranging from small to large based on customer requirements. Proficiency in CMM programming and operation, particularly with Zeiss Calypso.
