Bindery And Shipping Specialist
The Bindery and Shipping Specialist is responsible for the finishing processes of printed materials, including but not limited to binding, cutting, folding, and packing. This role ensures that all products are completed to the highest quality standards and shipped accurately and on time. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, possesses strong organizational skills, and has a passion for quality craftsmanship. Responsibilities include: Bindery Operations: Set up and operate all bindery equipment. Perform quality checks throughout the binding process. Assist in troubleshooting and maintaining equipment. Shipping Duties: Prepare finished products for shipping. Coordinate with shipping carriers. Maintain shipping records and inventory. Quality Control: Inspect finished products against work orders. Ensure compliance with customer specifications. Report any issues to the Production Manager. Collaboration: Work closely with the production team. Communicate effectively with team members. Assist in other departments as needed. Qualifications include: High school diploma or equivalent. Experience in bindery, shipping, or a related field preferred. Familiarity with printing and bindery equipment is advantageous. Strong attention to detail and ability to perform tasks accurately. Good organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
