Carpenter
We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team and contribute to reconstruction efforts for our valued customers. This role involves light framing, trim work, drywall hanging and finishing, hanging cabinets, and painting. Candidates must possess strong carpentry skills and be open to receiving instruction and feedback. This position requires flexibility and a willingness to embrace a demanding schedule, including being on-call every five weeks for emergency projects. Responsibilities
Provide operational support in reconstruction efforts. Perform light framing, trim work, and drywall hanging and finishing. Hang cabinets and complete painting tasks. Follow instructions and feedback in the moment. Embrace a demanding schedule and be responsive to emergency projects. Travel to various project sites for restoration work. Essential Skills
Proficiency in carpentry, framing, and drywall hanging. Ability to perform finish carpentry and trim work. Experience with hand and power tools. Capability to read and interpret blueprints. Additional Skills & Qualifications
Ability to paint is a plus. Willingness to learn the restoration business. Physical capability to handle heavy lifting (50+ lbs) and operate dehumidifiers. Ability to stoop, kneel, reach, and crawl frequently. Why Work Here?
