FULL TIME DAYS LPN: WITHDRAWAL MANAGEMENT

DescriptionOPPORTUNITYCentral Minnesota Mental Health Center (CMMHC) has a rewarding opportunity to serve as Full Time, M-F, Day position LPN within our Withdrawal Management Program team in St. Cloud. WHAT IS WITHDRAWAL MANAGEMENT/DETOX? This clinically monitored short-term residential Withdrawal Management Program specializes in assisting clients through evidence-based withdrawal from opioids, alcohol, stimulants, and other substances, providing a high level of care and support. You will work as a team to support and monitor our clients by assessing incoming referrals for meeting admission criteria for the Withdrawal Management Program, performing basic health screenings, screening for risk of self-harm, monitoring for safe detoxification and potential withdrawal using evidence-based assessment tools while implementing treatment protocols and stabilization services. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESThe LPN is responsible for providing a safe environment for detox and basic patient care under the supervision of a physician or RN within a family driven, trauma informed framework. Duties include:Perform basic health screenings.Perform Nursing Assessment.Implement nursing policy and protocol.Medicate as indicated for withdrawal symptoms following the condition specific protocols initiated by the on-call provider(s).RequirementsWHAT YOU'LL NEED2-year nursing degree from an accredited professional nursing program or certificate of completion from a 12-month accredited practical nursing program.Licensed Practical Nurse in the state of Minnesota without encumbrance.Clear DHS background study Valid Drivers License with an acceptable driving record WHAT WILL SET YOU APART2 years of nursing experience is preferred, but not required Passion for the helping field
