Other duties may be assigned: Tutor all students in any setting, including college-level academic transfer courses. Ask and answer academic questions, using examples relating to a particular subject. Provide analytic and diagnostic services for students increasing affective work results. Process new students assuring individuals' learning needs are met. Provide support services required during semester. Evaluate and recommend tutoring materials. May assist in tracking student performance. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the essential duties and responsibilities listed above. The qualifications listed below are representative of the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required. Same credential as required to teach in the subject area (Photocopy of transcript must accompany application). Three (3) years of relevant work experience in the related academic area of study. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications Must possess excellent verbal and written communications skills Must be well organized, task-oriented and flexible Must possess good interpersonal skills to perform successfully in a large multicultural environment Must be able to work flexible hours to include evenings and weekends
