Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented Specimen Processor to join our laboratory team. The Specimen Processor I is responsible for receiving, labeling, and preparing patient samples for testing. This role is critical in ensuring accurate processing, maintaining specimen integrity, and supporting laboratory operations in compliance with safety and regulatory guidelines. Key Responsibilities: Receive, inspect, and log patient specimens (blood, urine, tissue, etc.) into the laboratory system. Accurately label and prepare samples for testing according to lab protocols. Ensure specimens meet quality standards and report discrepancies or issues. Maintain proper storage and handling of specimens to prevent contamination or degradation. Work closely with laboratory technicians, phlebotomists, and medical staff to ensure efficient workflow. Follow all safety and infection control procedures while handling biohazardous materials.
