Machine Operator
We are seeking dedicated Production Operators to join our team. As a Production Operator, you will be trained to operate a variety of extrusion equipment, ensuring the production of high-quality products. This role involves setting up machines based on production orders, maintaining production quality, obtaining samples for quality control, labeling, and packing finished products. Check operating controls and safety of equipment prior to operation. Obtain material for processing from inventory bins and report any damaged, defective, or missing material to the supervisor. Set up machines based on production orders. Monitor material quality for any defects and adjust machine parameters as needed. Label and pack finished products according to work order instructions. Review work orders and drawings, resolving any conflicts. Wear a respirator to perform machine setup when necessary. 2 years of machine operation experience. Experience working with large machines and materials. High school diploma or equivalent work experience. Good attendance and a strong work ethic in a manufacturing environment. Ability to work in a fast-paced and teamwork-oriented environment. Proficiency in operating power tools and basic mechanical skills. Interest in operating machinery. Some Microsoft Office skills. Ability to lift 50 lbs. occasionally. Experience in heavy general labor, heavy machine operating, carpentry, or construction is a plus. Must be a fast learner, patient, and self-motivated. Good job tenure is essential; candidates with three jobs in three years will not be considered. The work environment is fast-paced and requires teamwork. Operators will use a variety of advanced manufacturing technologies and equipment. The facility adheres to strict safety standards and provides a clean and organized workspace. Dress code includes wearing a respirator when performing machine setup. The pay range for this position is $23.00/hr.
