Inside Sales Representative

Essential Functions & Responsibilities: Demonstrate FCX Core Values in daily interactions. Perform daily workload check and distribute amongst the team. Review customer account distribution amongst the inside sales team. Review weekly timecards for approval and make necessary updates. Approve PTO requests and record PTO on the branch public calendar. Provide expertise, leadership, training, and coaching to a team of Inside Sales Representatives. Sell company products and services to customers. Maintain responsibility of orders from quotation to collection. Process and expedite orders, customer returns, and returns to vendors. Assist in training and guiding the inside sales team. Work closely with Outside Salesman to solicit business and maintain customer service levels. Achieve and maintain rapport with customers. Resolve customer issues such as warranty claims and product returns. Review open customer order reports and take action on open items. Other duties as assigned by Management. Must be able to sit for long periods of time. Previous experience with Prophet21 or similar CRM/ERP systems. Essential Mental Functions: Self-motivated with a can-do attitude. Superior employee management skills. Aggressive in sales tactics and strategies. Excellent internal & external communication and problem solving skills. Able to tackle multiple projects while being organized, detail, and deadline oriented. Ability to relate to all levels of employees, customers, and vendors. Ability to focus on company expectations while striving for continuous improvement. Preferred Education/Experience: Bachelor's Degree preferred, preferably in Industrial Distribution, Engineering & Management, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering; equivalent experience may be substituted for degree requirement. 5-7+ years' experience in an Inside Technical Sales/Customer Service/Application Engineer role with an Industrial Distributor required. Previous experience with Process Flow Control equipment required; Valves (Control, Ball, Butterfly, Plug Knife gate, etc.), Instrumentation, Actuators strongly desired.
