WMS Application Engineer
As a WMS Application Engineer, you will play a key role in the design, configuration, deployment, and support of advanced warehouse management system (WMS) solutions, enabling high-performance supply chain operations for our growing enterprise. Responsibilities include: Leading the technical design, configuration, and implementation of HighJump/Krber/InfiOS Cloud solutions. Customizing and enhancing workflows, integrations, and business rules to meet operational and business requirements. Collaborating with cross-functional teams including the business, operations, IT, and vendors to ensure seamless WMS deployments and upgrades. Developing and maintaining technical documentation, including system configurations, user manuals, and SOPs. Troubleshooting and resolving system issues, performance bottlenecks, and user-reported incidents in a timely manner. Providing technical support and training to end-users and administrators. Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives across the warehouse technology stack. Ensuring system integrity, scalability, and compliance with IT governance and security standards. Using discretion and independent judgment in daily decisions while maintaining a high level of confidentiality and professionalism. Actively participating in learning initiatives offered such as training programs, workshops, and webinars. Leveraging these opportunities to acquire new knowledge, refine existing skills, and stay current on the latest developments. Providing friendly, proactive, and professional internal and external support to others, assisting with inquiries, concerns, and issues promptly and effectively. This role may require occasional travel to distribution centers or warehouses. Performing other duties as assigned. Essential qualities for success include: 5 to 10 years of professional experience as an Application Engineer, Systems Analyst, or Technical Consultant in a WMS environment, and a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related education. Proven expertise in HighJump/Krber/InfiOS WMS platforms. Strong knowledge of SQL, XML, and WMS integration frameworks/APIs. Experience working with supply chain, logistics, or warehouse operations in a technical capacity. An ability to gather requirements, design solutions, and execute system modifications or new implementations. Strong problem-solving, analytical thinking, and communication skills. Experience with project-based implementations, Agile/Scrum methodologies, and working with external vendors is a plus. Krber/HighJump certification(s). Experience with EAI/BPM tools, RF integration, or robotics/machine integration within WMS environments. Familiarity with cloud-native WMS architectures and multi-tenant deployments. Background in retail, manufacturing, 3PL, or distribution environments. Strong problem solving skills and ability to work independently with attention to detail. Excellent verbal and written interpersonal and communication skills. Physical requirements include: Ability to maintain a seated or standing position for extended durations. Capability to lift 15 pounds periodically. Ability to navigate and access all facilities. Skill to effectively communicate verbally with others, both in-person and via electronic devices. The pay range for this position is $83,250 - $110,100 annualized and is bonus eligible. Exact compensation is determined by factors such as relevant geographic location, education, certifications, experience, job level, shift, and organizational needs.
