Are you ready to make a difference in the world of Cellular Therapy? We are looking for a passionate Scientist with expertise in Cellular Therapy, Immunology, or Immuno-Oncology to join our dynamic Cell Therapy Team. In this role, you'll leverage your knowledge of T cell immunology to propel the development of groundbreaking Cell Therapy products. You'll be at the heart of designing and executing laboratory experiments, developing methodologies, and interpreting scientific data in a collaborative environment. Are you up for the challenge? Accountabilities:

Conduct routine drug discovery research experiments using molecular and cellular biology techniques, analyze and interpret data, and communicate results to team members. Perform hands-on in vitro research, including the design, implementation, and interpretation of studies. Collaborate with project managers to ensure efficient information relay and forward translation of data. Assess and report data clearly and concisely, understanding its implications within the context of drug discovery. Share information across distinct projects within the bioscience function and other functions as needed. Ensure compliance with Safety, Health, and Environment standards and all relevant internal AstraZeneca standards and external regulations. Potentially lead or co-lead a project team and contribute to scientific publication goals. Essential Skills/Experience:

Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline with 2+ years laboratory experience in Cellular Therapy, Immunology, and/or Immuno-Oncology Well-developed understanding of molecular and cellular biology, immunological assays, and cell transfection/transduction Sterile cell culture techniques Flow cytometry experience Desirable Skills/Experience:

Background in drug discovery and development in the pharmaceutical industry Culture of primary human immune cells and basic experience developing cellular therapies including CAR-T/CAR-NK, TCR-T, and/or TIL therapies Transfection/transduction and expansion of primary cells Handling of small molecules and antibodies in a technology development process At AstraZeneca, we are driven by a mission to transform the lives of patients living with cancer.
