As an Analyst in the First Line Control Office (FLCO), you will play an important role in supporting and maintaining Webster's risk and control environment. Working closely with the Risk & Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) team and stakeholders across the Consumer Bank, you will help track and document risks, assess control effectiveness, and ensure risk-related data is accurate, complete, and aligned with regulatory standards. This role offers a unique opportunity to grow your operational risk acumen while contributing to strategic risk initiatives across the bank. Key Responsibilities
Assist with RCSA activities by supporting process mapping, documenting outcomes, and tracking follow-up items. Maintain accurate records of RCSA sessions and provide logistical and administrative support. Maintain risk data within key platforms (e.g., ServiceNow), ensuring ongoing accuracy, completeness, and timeliness. Monitor risk activities and control effectiveness across the bank, supporting KRIs and dashboards. Maintain and organize documentation for all risk programs, assessments, and procedures in line with internal governance and regulatory requirements. Support the preparation of regular and ad hoc reports summarizing risk exposures, key risk indicators (KRIs), and open issues. Liaise across business units to gather information and support enterprise risk communications. Log risk incidents and help identify root causes. Monitor and support the completion of mitigation actions. Assist with internal and external audits by gathering and organizing risk documentation and data as needed. Help coordinate risk training sessions and support awareness campaigns to promote a strong risk culture. Participate in additional risk-related projects and initiatives as assigned by management. Bachelor's degree in business administration, Finance, Risk Management, or related field, or equivalent experience. 13 years of experience in an administrative, operational, or risk-focused support rolepreferably in banking or financial services. Strong organizational and time management skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams). Excellent written and verbal communication skills Comfortable using and learning new technologies and risk tools. Familiarity with operational risk principles, regulatory expectations, and financial services controls is a plus. The estimated base salary range for this position is $80,000 USD to $100,000 USD. Actual salary may vary up or down depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position is eligible for incentive compensation.
