Facilities Staff

Reporting directly to the Facilities Operations Director, this position supports Facilities Managers at their respective Centers by supplementing their ability to maintain the overall physical condition and presentation of the YMCA branch, to assure that the facilities are clean, safe and in good repair. This position is responsible for supporting the general maintenance and repair of non-complex building systems, components, fixtures, and equipment. Schedule: Part time, as needed based on program needs. Key Responsibilities

Skills and Competencies: Experience in property management, preventative maintenance, HVAC, plumbing, pool maintenance, and housekeeping Possess excellent interpersonal skills, be highly motivated, and have a positive attitude about the YMCA and its mission Key Functions/Responsibilities: General building and grounds maintenance includes without limitation, physically performing minor carpentry, cleaning, electrical, furniture/equipment assembly, landscaping, masonry, painting, plumbing, snow removal, supply and inventory control, and event preparations. Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

Education and license: High School Diploma required; advanced degree preferred. Must have a valid Driver's License and access to personal vehicle to use for work. Experience: Experience in facilities management. Education may be supplemented for years of experience. Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
