The expected hiring range for this position is: $20.00-$37.50. Please note that the pay range information is a general guideline only. The pay offered to a selected candidate will be determined based on factors such the scope and responsibilities of the position, qualifications of the selected candidate, business considerations, internal equity, and external market pay for comparable jobs. About the Role: Under general supervision, as a Technical Aide at Fermilab, you will be responsible for reviewing existing hard copies of technical drawings and specifications in preparation for digital archiving. Based on your experience and direction provided, you will also assist in the preparation of CAD drawings. What Your Day-To-Day As A Technical Aide At Fermilab Will Look Like: Preparing and electronically storing assembly drawings, models, and sub-assembly drawings requirements for mechanical or electrical systems, utilizing computer-aided design & drafting and other job-related software applications and consistency to professional standards. Maintaining and updating related files and databases; electronically store archives of drawings. Performing other duties as assigned by supervisor. Abiding by and being responsible for performing all duties in accordance with all environmental, health and safety regulations and practices pertinent to this position. Skills and Attributes for Success: High school degree, technical certificate, or equivalent experience Applicable Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required: Knowledge of interior furnishings, electrical, mechanical, and architectural drawings. Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, and Outlook. Computer-aided design and drafting (CADD) This role requires comfort with routine, repetitive tasks, and a focus on accuracy and reliability. Work Arrangement: Please note that the described work arrangement is subject to change based on business needs and is not guaranteed to be final. Onsite: This is an onsite role, and the candidate must be able to work from our Batavia office.
