Senior Manager, Product Management - Sponsored Search API's - Walmart Connect
As the leader of Application Programming Interface (API) team for Sponsored Search (Sponsored Products), you'll build industry defining ad platforms at scale that enable Walmart suppliers and sellers to reach shoppers with relevant ads and high performing campaigns while helping shoppers discover products to enhance their shopping journey. We are looking for a product leader to help reimagine the way we empower Suppliers and Sellers/Marketplaces with best-in-class omni-channel advertising tools at scale. This role will lead to the adoption of our advertising products across customer segments. You'll make an impact by: Driving development of APIs from requirement definitions, research, metrics analysis, technical specifications, development, testing, KPIs and other launch efforts. Developing and enhancing APIs - you will align business and technical needs, analyze customer and product data, turn customer insights into actionable initiatives, determine rollout strategy, and manage risks. Building collaborative relationships with key stakeholders by driving priorities aligned to business goals, communicating, and prioritizing product roadmaps, and gaining buy-in from executive leadership. Conducting industry and competitive analysis to understand the emerging trends in advertising industry and developer tools to identify new opportunities. Using domain expertise, internal and external best practices to improve developer experience for our partners and advertisers. Conducting customer research to define partner segments and identify needs to inform API product roadmap. Partnering with internal advertising sales team and Walmart retail teams to create unique, compelling APIs that benefit shoppers, partners and our advertising clients. Leading a team of API PMs. Required Experience: 9 to 11 years of hands-on experience in Product Management. 3+ years of experience in API Product Management. 2+ years of experience managing product managers. Passionate about solving complex problems. Data-driven and strategic thinker. Customer-centric. Comfortable influencing others, leading teams, managing stakeholders, getting buy-in from leadership.
