Come join our Patient Access team at Johnson Memorial Hospital, a member of Trinity Health Of New England! Weekdays only, three evenings (3p-11:30p) and one swing shift (11:30a-8p) - see schedule below. INITIAL ORIENTATION/TRAINING IS M-F DAY SHIFT FOR TWO WEEKS Position Purpose Completes patient registrations/pre-registration processes following department procedures. Processes include obtaining accurate demographic, insurance and patient liability information. Responsible for working with multiple department/hospital and web-based systems. What You Will Do Perform complete and accurate pre-registrations, registration, and admission functions Verify insurance requirements Obtain and understand insurance benefits Ensure that all entries concerning demographic, financial and advanced directives are Collect non-covered fees Minimum Qualifications Minimum High school or equivalent One year experience in an accredited hospital or physician's office preferred Knowledge of medical terminology and medical insurances Position Highlights and Benefits Full time 32 hours - shift differentials will apply Week 1: M 11:30a-8p & W, Th, F 3p-11:30p Week 2: M, T, F 3-11:30p & Th 11:30a-8p INITIAL ORIENTATION/TRAINING IS M-F DAY SHIFT FOR TWO WEEKS Excellent benefits starting day 1!
