Organization: SAH-Sutter Amador Hospital Position Overview: Manages medical nutrition therapy for inpatients and evaluates effectiveness of treatments. Job Description: Education: Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma. Bachelor's: Dietetics, food and nutrition or related field Completion of a didactic program in dietetics and supervised practice program approved by CADE of the American Dietetic Association. Master's Certification & Licensure: RD-Registered Dietitian OR RN-Registered Nurse of California within 90 days of hire CNSD-Certified Nutrition Support Dietitian OR CDCES-Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist OR CSPN-Certified Pediatric Nutrition Specialist OR CSR Preferred Experience as Typically Acquired in: Recent experience in an acute health care setting. Expertise in sub-specialty and Long-Term Care is desirable. Previous supervisory/management experience. Skills and Knowledge: Comprehensive knowledge of medical nutrition therapy, nutrition counseling principles, pathophysiology, nonpharmacologic and pharmacologic interventions. General knowledge of nutrient analysis, word processing and spreadsheet software. Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written forms. Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Pay Range is $51.11 to $65.42 / hour The salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location. This range has not been adjusted for any specific geographic differential applicable by area where the position may be filled. Compensation takes into account several factors including but not limited to a candidate's experience, education, skills, licensure and certifications, department equity, training and organizational needs.
