Housing Team Leader
The Housing Team Leader is responsible for overseeing and guiding the day to day operations of the housing program, ensuring the successfully delivery of services that meet the needs of clients in transition to stable housing. This role involves supervising a team of housing outreach professionals, managing the implementation of housing-related initiatives, and ensuring that all program goals, policies and regulatory requirements are met. Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling or a related behavioral health field or equivalent training or experience Must qualify at a minimum as a MHP per Illinois Department of Health Rule 132 Valid driver's license and automobile insurance Reliable access to personal vehicle required for community outreach Excellent organizational and computer skills Self-starter with ability to work independently and with a team Belief in the mission and vision of Rosecrance 1. Work hours prescribed and any additional hours deemed necessary for the responsibilities assigned. 2. Conduct outreach to individuals and families in need of housing assistance, including those at risk of homelessness or currently experiencing homelessness. 3. Education clients about housing programs, eligibility requirements, and application processes. 4. Assist clients in navigating the housing application process, including providing support with paperwork, documentation, and deadlines. 5. Build relationships with community partners, such as shelters, local housing authorities, and non-profit organizations to expand housing opportunities for clients. 6. Assess client needs and provide appropriate referrals to additional services. 7. Maintain accurate and up to date client records and documentation in accordance with organizational standards. 8. Advocate on behalf of clients to ensure they receive support and resources they need to secure and maintain permanent housing. 9. Participate in community events, forums, and partnerships to raise awareness of housing resources. 10. Track and report outcomes, including successful placements, progress towards goals, and barriers to housing stability. 11. Maintain confidentiality of all client information and adhere to privacy laws and organizational policies. Understand and comply with all the principles established by the Rosecrance Corporate Compliance Program and Code of Conduct. 12. Use available data to monitor effective team behavior in compliance with standards. 13. Provide staff feedback on performance via team meetings, monthly supervision and annual reviews and provide more frequent individual feedback as necessary. 14. Participate as part of the management team providing support to the team and other departmental staff. 15. Provide leadership by demonstrating self-motivation, seeking improved performance, problem solving while meeting the needs of the staff and consumer. 16. Perform all responsibilities in compliance with the mission, vision, values, and expectations of Rosecrance. 17. Deliver exceptional customer service consistently to every customer. 18. Serve as a role model for other staff, clients and customers and demonstrate positive guest relations in representing Rosecrance. 19. Assume other related responsibilities as assigned by leadership. Schedule: 8-hour shifts Shift: 8:30am - 5:00pm Monday through Friday Work Location: Rosecrance Ware Center - Rockford, IL Onsite Compensation and Rewards : Pay: Based on education and experience Starting rate: $23.24 Plus eligibility for the operational leadership incentive of up to 10% of salary based on metrics/KPI achievement.
