Maintenance Helper
As a Maintenance Helper at ASC, you will have the opportunity to assist in keeping the foundry safe and running smoothly. You could be shoveling sand, sweeping and cleaning designated areas, operating a forklift, and more! Key Responsibilities
- Shovels sand from pits using flat edge shovel - Sweeps and cleans designated areas - Uses push broom, sweeping dust and debris from assigned areas and discard into waste receptacle - Removal of waste sandbags from designated areas - Operation of forklift after obtaining certification, operate forklift to transport waste and product - Ability to take direction from supervisor; understanding temperatures controls; assisting with the cleaning/maintaining furnaces ladles What You Will Bring:
- Requires standing up to 10 hours per day - Repetitive use of both hands and feet up to 10 hours per day - Constant awareness of surroundings - Requires some pushing/pulling/lifting (up to 50 lbs) ASC Engineered Solutions is an equal opportunity employer.
