About ThedaCare! Summary :

Mosaic Family Health provides access to high-quality clinical care for more than 6,000 patients at its convenient location in downtown Appleton. For the last 30 years, the clinic has provided holistic care and support for people of all ages. We offer a wide range of services, including maternity care, pediatrics, acute and chronic illness care, geriatrics, mental health care and hospital care. Mosaic Family Health is home to the Fox Valley Family Medicine Residency Program, an affiliate of the Medical College of Wisconsin. We work together to fulfill our mission: to provide full-scope family medicine services while training future physicians and improving the overall health of the Fox Cities.

Job Description:

Key Accountabilities Carry out the philosophy, values and mission of the Corporation and the Corporate Members as well as policies established by the Board and advising on the formation of these policies Develop and Summit to the Board for approval business plans for the conduct of the various activities of the Corporation and recommending changes when necessary. Prepare written plans for achievement of the Corporation's specific objectives in a manner consistent with the goals and objectives of the Corporate Members and their affiliates and periodically reviewing and evaluating such plans Prepare an annual budget showing expected revenue and expenditures as required by the Board Selecting, employing, supervising and discharging corporate agents and employees and developing and maintain personnel policies and practices for the corporation Maintaining physical properties in a good and safe state of repair and operating condition Supervisor the financial affairs to assure that funds are collected and expended to the best possible advantage of the Corporation in light of the needs of the Corporation and its Corporate Members, limited financial resources and the goals and objects of the Corporate Members and their affiliates. Presenting to the Board, or its authorized committees, periodic reports reflecting the activities of the Corporation and such other special reports as may be required by the Board Attending and participating in all meetings of the Board, without vote and coordinating the preparation of Board meetings and Board materials. Serving as liaison on behalf of the Corporation in its relationships with its affiliated organizations in order to implement and develop a coordinated family medicating residency training program in a manner in which corporation's local initiatives are balanced against those of its Corporate Members, and report on the same to the Board and the Corporate Members Performing such other duties as may from time to time be assigned by the Board

Qualifications Bachelor degree required, Master degree preferred 5 years of healthcare leadership experience, preference within residency programs Physical Demands Ability to move freely (standing, stooping, walking, bending, pushing and pulling) and lift up to a maximum of twenty-five (25) pounds without assistance Job classification is not exposed to blood borne pathogens (blood or bodily fluids) while performing job duties Work Environment Use of computers throughout work day Frequent use of keyboard with repetitive motion of hands, wrist and fingers Possible exposure to communicable diseases, hazardous materials, and pharmacological agents.
