The 2 North Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU) is a 20 bed unit providing excellent and compassionate care to a wide range of patient populations. Summary: Under the direction and supervision of the Nurse Manager provides support for patients, visitors and colleagues on assigned nursing units. Facilitates efficient patient throughput including admissions, discharges and transfers. Supports patient experience and culture of safety goals through equipment maintenance, unit supplies, unit appearance and overall environment of care. Provides reception type services to patients, families, visitors and other unit guests.
