Clinical Relief Pool Staff

The Clinical Relief Pool Staff provides as-needed clinical support at the Central Recovery Center (CRC), a facility offering 24/7 services for individuals experiencing behavioral health crises. Relief staff work across various shifts to ensure continuity of care and operations when full-time staff are unavailable. This role includes conducting assessments, crisis intervention, brief therapy, and coordination of care. What You Will Do:

Provide crisis intervention, risk assessment, and safety planning for individuals presenting with mental health or substance use crises. Complete intake evaluations, clinical assessments, and documentation in accordance with agency and regulatory standards. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, including medical, psychiatric, peer support, and case management staff. Support de-escalation efforts and maintain a trauma-informed, recovery-oriented environment. Participate in shift hand-offs, team meetings, and daily briefings as required. Maintain accurate and timely clinical records and documentation. Coordinate with emergency services, hospitals, family members, and community providers for client stabilization and discharge planning. Provide short-term therapy or brief interventions when appropriate. Uphold agency policies, confidentiality standards, and ethical practices. Minimum Qualifications:

Masters degree in psychology, social work or human services plus (1) year paid human service experience OR Bachelors degree in psychology, social work or human services plus 3 years paid human service experience. Computer experience preferred. Act 33/34/73 Clearances- to be updated every 5 years at employees expense. Physical/TB to be updated every 2 years. Pre-employment drug screen. Valid driver license.
