Immediate Hiring For Material Handler Forklift
As a Material Handler Forklift Operator, you will play a vital role in the warehouse operations by operating a sit-down forklift and utilizing RF scan guns. You will be responsible for loading and unloading products from trailers, assisting operators with materials, and using the internal shipping system. Additionally, you will inspect inbound and outbound products and act as a team lead within the warehouse, overseeing a team of employees without direct management responsibilities. Operate a sit-down forklift efficiently and safely. Utilize RF scan guns for inventory management. Load and unload products from trailers in the warehouse. Assist operators with materials as needed. Utilize the internal shipping system when required. Inspect inbound and outbound products for quality assurance. Act as a team lead within the warehouse, overseeing a team of employees. Proficiency in operating a sit-down forklift with at least 1 year of experience. Experience in a manufacturing or production environment for at least 6 months. Familiarity with RF scanning technology. Strong skills in material handling and warehouse operations. Training will be provided on 1st shift for one week. This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Iowa City, Iowa. The pay range for this position is $18.75 - $19.50/hr.
