Travel Construction Job
Responsibilities: Operate, inspect, and maintain equipment according to manufacturer specifications. Perform rigging, hoisting, and spotting for equipment movement following written, verbal, or signaled instructions. Level soil or manipulate ground for equipment and material transportation. Troubleshoot mechanical issues efficiently, finding solutions to technical problems. Complete all job-related duties as instructed by the supervisor. Maintain safe working conditions and adhere to Occupational Health and Safety regulations. Tend and operate cement mixers, air compressors, generators, pumps, and other power equipment. Perform basic labor tasks, including digging ditches and trenches, backfilling excavations, lubricating and cleaning equipment, organizing construction materials, and cleaning construction sites. Safely operate hand and power tools such as jackhammers, drills, saws, grinders, concrete mixers, and pneumatic tampers. Essential Skills: Concrete laborer experience. Skilled in general site cleanup, trench digging, and equipment spotting. Comfortable moving 75+ lbs regularly. Experience with cement, concrete, jackhammer, and construction tasks. Additional Skills & Qualifications: At least 1 year of experience in general construction, agriculture, dirt work, welding, concrete, or landscaping. Comfortable working outdoors in various elements. Able to lift 75 lbs and willing to travel. 10% of work may involve night shifts. Preferred experience with forklifts and skidsteers. Work Environment: Work with a team dedicated to designing and installing specialty foundation elements and ground improvement techniques. Projects are primarily commercial, civil, and industrial.
