2nd Shift Assembler

As a 2nd Shift Assembler, you will be responsible for creating sub-assemblies consisting of printed circuit boards with applicable components, and assembling a completed electro-mechanical unit utilizing sub assemblies, air tools, and miscellaneous parts. Responsibilities

Assemble printed circuit boards by inserting applicable components in a through-hole fashion using specific work instructions, procedures, and various hand and air tools. Install sub-assemblies and miscellaneous hardware into specific unit enclosures at a final assembly level using specific work instructions, procedures, and various hand and air tools. Conduct electrical function tests at the printed circuit board and final assembly level using test fixtures provided by electrical engineering. Perform other duties as required, such as packing. Essential Skills

Ability to lift up to 26 pounds. Minimum of 4 months production work experience. Must be able to stand at work station for 8+ hours. Additional Skills & Qualifications

High School Diploma/GED required. Assembler experience is a plus. Electro-mechanical aptitude is desirable. Ability to work cross-functionally with individuals and teams to achieve department/production goals. Strive for continuous process improvement in daily activities. This role is set in a fast-paced manufacturing environment where deadlines are crucial. You will work in a basic production area with tight quarters. Safety is a priority, so eye protection and protective shoes are required, and loose clothing is prohibited. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
